The 10th INTERNATIONAL HELVETIA U6 CUP will take place from 01 – 04 August 2019 in Lugano. An international and interesting mixture of football players is again expected at the tournament. United in football, the football stars of tomorrow and the heroes of everyday life will meet in a sporty but also friendly atmosphere.

On Tuesday, the OC team and FC Lugano presented this year’s participants of the INTERNATIONAL HELVETIA U 16 CUP at the official press conference. Top teams from all over Europe.

Among the guests were Leonid Nowoselskiy (President FC Lugano settore giovanile), representatives of the government, city of Lugano, as well as responsible persons of FC Liverpool, AC Milan, Chelsea FC Foundation sponsors and supporters of the tournament.

FC Lugano introduces its own Special Needs Team

In cooperation with the foundation FOOTBALL IS MORE (FIM) the first Special Needs European Cup for people with disabilities will take place integrated into the U16 tournament. The tournament’s field of participants consists of many top clubs.

The tournament, will also have a lot to offer for spectators with its inclusive programme. With the Family Area we are building a tournament village especially for the whole family. There can meet children, teenagers, adults, players and people interested in sports and spend the day together.
